<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The article reviewed data on tolerant doses to the heart in irradiation of different locations. The results of studies conducted in the last seven years after QUANTEC publication are presented. It was concluded that the data obtained upon irradiation of the sternum and breast cancer are uncomparable.
