На основе специфики отображения при МРТ анатомо-гистологических особенностей строения предстательной железы, а также физических принципов получения соответствующих изображений представлено обсуждение возможностей основных методик МРТ в первичной диагностике рака простаты, в оценке его распространения, в стратификации риска прогрессирования и определении лечебной тактики, при сопровождении лечебных мероприятий, в контроле их эффективности, а также в раннем выявлении рецидивов.

The article discusses the possibilities of basic MRI techniques in primary prostate cancer diagnosis based on the MRI characteristics of anatomical and histological features of prostate. The assesment of prostate cancer distribution, stratification of risk for progression and the decision for treatment tactics, in accompanying of remedial actions, in treatment effectiveness monitoring and in early detection of relapses is discussed.
