MAGNETIC RESONANCE IMAGING AND COMPUTED TOMOGRAPHY IN DIFFERENTIAL DIAGNOSIS OF ECTOPIC PANCREATIC TISSUE AND RETROPERITONEAL TUMOR

Abstract
A rare clinical observation of retroperitoneal ectopy of pancreatic tissue with diligence to the kidney and jejunum is presented. For the first time, semiotics of ectopia is described according to the data of magnetic resonance imaging, which is compared with computer tomography data and allows to perform differential diagnostics with a retroperitoneal tumor with a high degree of reliability, to determine whether the revealed structures belong to the tissues of the pancreas.
