NONTHROMBOTIC EMBOLISM OF PULMONARY ARTERY BY POLYMETHYLMETHACRYLATE

Abstract

A case of embolism of the pulmonary artery branches with a cementing substance after percutaneous vertebroplasty is presented, which is the most severe complication of this minimally invasive procedure. The causes and means of prevention are discussed.
